Situated on a low ridge in pasture. Depicted on the 1837 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure and on the 1913 edition as a D-shaped enclosure. D-shaped area (30m E–W; c. 16m N–S) enclosed on the curving side W–E by an eroded and gapped earthen bank (Wth 1.5-4m; int. H 0.8-1m; ext. H 0.8m), and on the straight side to by a modern field boundary, on an E–W axis. At the inner foot of the bank at W–N is a fosse (Wth 2-4m; D 0.3-0.5m) which may be a later feature. To S of the field boundary, the south half of the rath has been levelled and there are no remains now visible at ground level.
