Situated in level, lowlying pasture. Depicted as a large, roughly rectangular enclosure on the 1837 OS 6-inch map. This enclosure has been partly levelled. It is visible as a rectangular area (c. 56m NW-SE; c. 50m NE-SW) defined on the NW, NE and SE sides by an infilled fosse, visible as a wide, shallow depression (Wth. c. 8m). It is bordered on the SW side by a substantial field boundary (Wth 4m) which may incorporate remnants of an original bank. Another field bank, on a NE–SW axis, bordered on its N side by a farm/cattle track, cuts through the NW end of the enclosure.
