On an E-facing slope of a low ridge. Raised circular area (diam 30m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth. 3.2m; int. H 0.6m) with an external fosse (Wth. 3.5m; D 0.7m). This latter feature is well preserved on the upslope at the W half of the monument (Wth. 3.2m; int. H 0.6m) but is absent elsewhere. Original entrance not recognisable. The internal area slope gently from W to E but 12m from the E bank is a low terrace or step extending N-S across the site. Tradition of a souterrain c.400m SW of this monument.
