Situated on a slight SSW-facing slope in elevated, gently undulating, rocky pasture. Not marked on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. The field system extends across approximately 10 hectares but is best preserved around a wedge tomb (SL015-053----). The relic field boundaries are made up of earth and stone banks (av. dims. Wth 1.7-2.2m; H 0.2-0.5m) with occasional large blocks of limestone set centrally in the banks. The banks are generally straight, orientated N-S and E-W and intersecting at approximate right angles.
