Situated on a slight S-facing slope within a plantation of mature coniferous trees. Not shown on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map. Depicted on the 1912 edition as a subcircular area (dims. 17m NE-SW; 14m NW-SE) abutting the NW side of what is almost certainly a ringfort (SL015-057002-). This feature, almost certainly an annex to the ringfort, appears to have been levelled. No visible surface trace at ground level.
