Situated on the level summit of an elongated E-W orientated rocky hillock, in small deciduous wood, surrounded by undulating pasture. The monument is located on the E side of the summit with natural ground level falling away steeply N-SSE. Circular area (diam. 28m) enclosed by a low bank of rubble limestone (Wth 2.7m; H 0.3m). There is no fosse visible at ground level. The bank is best preserved where the external base is revetted with rubble limestone blocks S-NW. From NW-S the bank is denuded and is very low in profile. A break (Wth 1.1m) in the bank at WSW marks the position of the original entrance.
