What is recorded here

Wood-Martin (1888, 49) recorded that 'In close proximity [to the circles recorded by Petrie as destroyed (SL014-209084-, SL014-209085-, SL014-209086-)] there is an appearance of a ruined cist.’ Not visible at ground level. (Bergh 1995, 188 under 'Destroyed sites between Carrowmore 18 and Carrowmore 19’) Compiled by: Paul Walsh Date of upload: 10 February 2014

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
