This is recorded by Bergh (1995, 188) as follows: ‘In the O.S.L. Petrie notes that “Between this circle [C18; SL014-209031-] and the next to be noticed [C19; SL014-209032-], there is every reason to believe that three or more circles have been destroyed, as the peasantry allege.” (Petrie 1837, p. 246)’ This record relates to one of the three possible circles. (Bergh 1995, 249, C18:1)
