Located at the NE end of a hedgerow-lined lane, border by pasture fields. Spring well confined to a square pool (0.9m NNE-SSW; 1m WNW-ESE) by a modern concrete wall (H 0.9m) on three sides, and by a low concrete step on the open side to WSW. The spring exits the well through an outflow hole at the base of the NNE wall, and is channelled from there as a shallow surface stream into a field drain. A burnt mound (SL014-279----) lies 45m to NNW and a second burnt mound (SL014-278---- ) is c. 75m to NNW. There is a standing stone (SL014-105----) c. 200m to NNW.
