In rough pasture, situated on a NW-SE ridge, overlooking a small stream valley to NE. Raised circular area (diam. c. 22m) enclosed by a bank (Wth. 3.8m; int. H 1m; ext. H 3.2m, at NW) with largely infilled external fosse (Wth. 4m). At the outer edge of the fosse at W is a second bank (Wth. c. 2.3m; int. H 1.65m; ext. H 0.4m). Original entrance may have been at E. There is a souterrain (SL012-083002-) in the S half of internal area.
