What is recorded here

Situated on a low rise at the NE end of an E-W ridge in average pasture. Slightly raised D-shaped area (diam. 24m NE-SW; 16m NW-SE to field fence) defined from N-WSW by a low bank (Wth. 2.1m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.55m, at SE) of earth and stone, and bordered on the straight side to NW by a modern field fence. There is no trace of a continuation of the enclosure to NW of the field fence. This may be the remains of a circular enclosure, the NW third of which has been levelled. There is a rath (SL012-033001-) c. 95m to WNW. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 19 January 2011
