What is recorded here

Situated on the NE side of a low rise in lowlying coastal pasture. Not marked on the 1837 OS 6-inch map. Raised subrectangular area (27m WNW-ESE; 15m NNE-SSW) whose NNE and SSW sides are defined by a much disturbed, low bank (Wth. 2.5m - 4.3m; H 0.5m) of earth and stone, and by a slight scarp elsewhere. A low scarp, probably remnants of a field boundary, extends from the NW to WNW, and remnants of other partly levelled field boundaries, shown on the 1837 OS 6-inch map, can be seen to N, E and S.
