Situated on slight NE-facing slope in pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 20m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 5.1m; int. H 0.6m) with an external fosse (Wth 5.1m; D 0.4m). The bank is made up of earth mixed with small rubble limestone with occasional larger rocks (dims. 0.5-1m2) of quartzy conglomerate. A break (Wth 1.5m) through the bank at NW marks the position of the original entrance. The fosse is partially infilled with field clearance earth and rubble stone SE-SSE and WSW-NW.
