What is recorded here

Situated in poorly drained, lowlying pasture. Raised rectangular area (37m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by a bank (Wth 3.9m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.4m at N, 1.6m at S) which is partially levelled at E. At its outer foot is a fosse (Wth 4.6m) with a substantial outer bank (Wth 4.3m at N, 7.2m at S; int. H 0.8-1.6m; ext. H 0.7m-1.6m. The outer bank is largely levelled at NE and E, and there are breaks at the NW and SE angles and a large break on the W side. The entrance is marked by a gap (Wth c. 3m) in the inner bank, roughly in the middle of the W side, with a low causeway across the fosse and remnants of a corresponding break in the outer bank. In the interior is a possible house (SL010-019001-). It is built against the inner face of the inner bank in the SW quadrant and consists of a low rectangular platform (16m E-W; c. 6m N-S) defined on the N and E by a low bank (Wth 1.5m; int.
