Situated on steeply sloping rise undulating pasture. Ground level drops away steeply to the S of the site. Slightly raised circular area (diam. c.20m) enclosed by a narrow bank of earth and stone (Wth c.2m; int. H c.0.5m). There is no fosse visible at ground level. The original entrance is not recognisable. The interior is densely overgrown and inaccessible.
