Situated in low-lying level pasture within a small copse of coniferous trees. The well has been modernised and is enclosed by a circular concrete wall (int. diam. 2m; T 0.2m; H 1.25m) with access via steps on the S side. The well is located at the centre of a circular paved area (diam. c.17m) enclosed by a wire and post fence. Access to the paved area is via a gate at N. The Stations of the Cross extend around the edge of the paved area NE-SE and SW-NW. The outflow from the well extends beneath the paving and emerges at the S edge of the area where it flows into a drain. A modern stone altar and a N-facing statue of the Virgin Mary are located immediately to the W of the well.
