What is recorded here

Situated on a slight rise in gently undulating pasture to the S of a small old farmyard. Views are excellent in all directions. Raised circular area (diam. 24m) defined by a modern drystone wall (Wth 0.8m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 1.4m). At the base of the wall, on the exterior side, is a low scarp of collapsed limestone rubble (Wth 1.3m; ext. H 1.4m). A break in the wall at WNW (Wth 1.5m) may mark the position of the original entrance. There is a modern break in the wall at SE (Wth 1.4m). A modern NW-SE orientated drystone field wall links to the cashel wall at NW and at ESE. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 21 April 2011
