Situated on broad E-W orientated ridge in pasture. Depicted on the 1835 edition of the OS 6-inch map as an almost circular enclosure. On the 1912 edition a field boundary is shown dividing the monument into two unequal portions. The W third of the monument is not marked. The site has been levelled and there are no visible remains at ground level.

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
