What is recorded here

Situated on slight rise in low-lying wet pasture. Slightly raised oval area (dims. 20m E-W; 17m N-S) enclosed by a bank of rubble limestone (Wth 5.3m; int. H 0.5m). No fosse visible. The original entrance is via a break (Wth 1.2m) in the bank at NE. The N side of the entrance is lined with a single limestone slab (L 0.7m; T 0.3m; H 0.3m) laid on edge. There is a modern break (Wth 1.5m) in the bank at SW. A now disused roughly rectangular quarry hole (8m E-W; 3.5m N-S; D 0.4m) lies against the inner face of the bank at S.
