Situated on the summit of broad E-W orientated ridge in undulating pasture. Remains comprise a roughly circular slightly raised area (dims. 17m E-W; 16m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.55m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.4m) with an external fosse (Wth 4.6m; D 0.3m). The bank is absent from ESE-S-WSW where the defining element is a scarped edge (ext. H 0.25m). The original entrance to the site is via a break in the bank with a causeway (Wth 3.3m) across the fosse at ESE.
