Situated on top of a small rise in pasture. Not marked on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. The site was inspected by an OPW fieldworker in 1942 and the ensuing field report recorded the site of a cashel with a souterrain (see SL003-028002-) within its interior (SMR file). This monument has been levelled and there are no remains of either cashel or souterrain now visible.
