Located in the centre of an ecclesiastical enclosure (SL001-001001-) known as the ‘Cashel’.
A small group of flat slabs immediately north of Clocha Breaca [leacht] (SL001-001013-) is identified by local tradition as the grave of one ‘Moylan O’Dalaigh’. His burial on Inishmurray in 1612 is recorded by the Annals of the Four Masters (Wakeman 1893, 9; Heraughty 1982, 20; Mountbatten 1972, 60)
