Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 35-40m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on the crest of the SW-facing slope of a NW-SE esker. Described locally as a ring of bushes which was removed c. 1960. It is not visible in reclaimed pasture but it was probably a rath.
