What is recorded here

The site (Wth 0.6m; D 0.2m) consists of irregularly laid brushwood (L 0.63m max.) and vertical stakes of birch and hazel with the elements orientated N-S. A single roundwood (diam. 0.08m) was recorded. The stakes (max. diam. 0.02m) were clustered at the north-northeast side of the spread. Most of the wood was broken and uncut. A single chisel point was recorded. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit, UCD. Date of upload: 24 August 2010
