What is recorded here

The site (L 14m; Wth 1.4m; D 0.24m) is orientated N-S and consists of obliquely laid roundwoods (av. diam. 0.06m) and brushwood (diam. 0.03-0.05m) with bundles of twigs and vegetation laid in a haphazard arrangement. The roundwoods were of hazel and birch while the brushwood was predominantly birch. A single chisel point was recorded. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit, UCD.
