What is recorded here

The site (L 1m; Wth 0.56m; D 00.05m) is orientated NNE-SSW and consists of densely laid ash, birch and oak brushwood (diam. 0.005-0.04m). Several elements of the brushwood were forked branches. One of these was of ash and had been split. An example of branch trimming was also recorded. Several ends were worked to short chisel points. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit, UCD.
