What is recorded here

The site (L 0.3m; Wth 0.46m; D 0.21m) is orientated NE-SW and consists of irregular arrangements of brushwood (diam. 0.006-0.048m). The arrangement of the wood was dispersed and irregular, with several longitudinal, oblique and vertical timbers present. Oak, hazel and alder were recorded. A forked branch of yew, with the main stem worked to a chisel point, was also recorded. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit, UCD. Date of upload: 24 August 2010
