What is recorded here

The site (L 1.07m; Wth 0.56m; D 0.07m) is orientated NNE-SSW and consists of a single compact layer of brushwood (diam. 0.005-0.05m) with a number of twigs in the vicinity. Birch was the species identified. Several toolmarks, predominantly chisel points, were evident. The wood was in fresh condition with its bark intact.
