What is recorded here

On a gentle S-facing slope. Oval grass-covered area (dims 48m E-W; 37m N-S) defined by an eroded earthen bank and hedge (Wth 3.7-5.7m; int. H 0.1-0.3m; ext. H 0.1-0.6m) which is reduced to a scarp at NE and W (H 1.5m) and largely removed ENE-SE. This is an outer bank, but there is no visible outer fosse or identifiable original entrance. The remains of an inner bank (Wth 3m; int. H 1m; ext. H 0.8m; L 12m) is separated by a berm or fosse (Wth 2m) from the outer bank at NW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
