On a slight SW-facing slope in a low-lying landscape, c. 1 km E of the River Suck. Circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 22.2m E-W; 21m N-S) defined by a stone spread (Wth 3.3-4.2m; int. H 0.2-0.6m; ext. H 0.5-0.6m) with occasional facing-stones visible. There is no identifiable original entrance, but an oval house site (RO053-001003-) (int. dims 4m N-S; 2.4m E-W) defined by a low stony bank (Wth 1.2m; max. H 0.2m) is against the inner face of the perimeter at E. The children's burial ground (RO053-00102-) is in the interior of the cashel. The interior and the perimeter at E are disturbed by quarrying..
