In a hollow in an undulating landscape. A natural spring in limestone outcrop is known locally as St Bridget's Well and was renowned for a cure of warts, but it was deepened on several occasions and is now visible as a slight hollow, but there is no evidence of veneration. The church at Cloonacille (RO051-018001-) is c. 190m to the SW.
