Marked on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a subrectangular field (dims c. 35m N-S; c. 35m E-W), and as an oval feature (dims c. 40m N-S; c. 30m E-W) on the 1915 ed. It is situated on the S-facing slope of a rise in an undulating landscape. A length (C 10m) of an overgrown stone spread (Wth 2m; ext. H 0.5m) which has a drystone wall (L 10m; Wth 0.6m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 0.5m) on its inner, E, edge survives at E in a field boundary. Cashel (RO052-017001-) is c. 20m to the NE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
