On a rise in an undulating landscape. Circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 33m E-W; 31.4m N-S) defined by an overgrown earth and stone bank (Wth 4-6m; int. H 0.1-0.3m; ext. H 0.5m at E to 1.9m at S) with no evidence of a fosse. The entrance (Wth 2m) is at ESE. Archaeological testing (07E1119) c. 90m to the NE produced no related archaeological material (Kieran 2010a), but excavations c. 130-170m to the W-NW on the line of the N4 motorway recorded a post-medieval burial, a kiln, a barrow and a structure (RO052-032001- to RO052-032004-).
