On a slight rise in an undulating landscape. At the SE interior of cashel (RO051-063001-) is a childrens burial ground, visible as a triangular enclosure (ext. dims. 18m E-W; 10m N-S) defined by the remains of stone walls at N and W and the inner face of the cashel wall at SE. (Egan 2007, 383-5)
