On the crest of a knoll. Circular, slightly domed, grass and scrub-covered area (int. diam. 21.5m NNW-SSE) defined by the remains of a stone wall with inner and outer facing-stones and a rubble core (Wth 1.45-1.65m; max. H 0.6m) SSE-W-NE. A house site (RO051-040002-) (ext. dims at least 5m E-W; 3.3m N-S) defined by the base of a stone wall abuts the inner face of the cashel wall at N. There are fieldstones on the perimeter SSW-WSW.
