There is an 18th or 19th century mill c. 200m SE of the Carmelite church (RO051-025001-), but there is no evidence of the masonry corn mill that Edmund O'Fallon was required to build by his lease of 1567 (Egan 1954-6, 20), although he probably developed the mill-ponds associated with it.
