What is recorded here

At the N end of a slight N-S ridge. Subcircular overgrown area (dims 32m E-W; 26.5m N-S) defined by a stone spread over an earthen core (Wth 4.5-5m; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H 0.3-0.8m) N-E-S, surviving best at NE but reduced to a scarp (max. H 0.4m) S-W-N. There is no visible fosse, but the stone-lined entrance (Wth 1.5m) is at SE and there is a clearance cairn just E of the centre. The monument is bisected by a N-S field wall. It was extant until at least 2005 (OSAP) but it has been removed since then. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 23 April, 2013

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
