Visible on aerial photographs (ACAP: V208 77-4) as a circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 40m) defined by a hedge and overlain by a WNW-ESE field wall towards the perimeter at S. Situated on a shelf on a S-facing slope. It is not visible at ground level in pasture, but S of the field wall at S, in dense scrub, the base of a wall (Wth 1.5m; H 0.4m) with facing-stones and spill survives at SW.
