Visible as a circular feature on aerial photographs (GSIAP: M 229-30), and situated on a S-facing slope at a point where it increases. This is a polygonal grass-covered area (dims 28.2m NE-SW; 26.8m NE-SW) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.2-2.7m; H 0.4-0.7m) which is connected to the boundaries of field system (RO039002-). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. House-site (RO050-039003-) (int. dims 5.6m ENE-WSW; 3.3m NNW-SSE) defined by a grass-covered earth and stone spread (Wth 0.9-2.2m) with an entrance (Wth 0.5m) at the centre of the S side, is inside the perimeter at W. The enclosure is probably a rath.
