On slight rise in an undulating landscape. D-shaped grass-covered platform (dims 28.5m NNE-SSW; c. 20m E-W) defined by a scarp H 0.8-1.5m) N-E-S. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, and the W half is overlain by N-S laneway that curves slightly to the W. However, the defining scarp at W can be seen beneath the W bank of the lane, and the E part of monument is bisected by an E-W field wall.
