What is recorded here

Visible as a circular enclousre on aerial photographs (GSIAP M 595-6), and situated on a slight rise in an undulating landscape. Circular grass and scrub-covered area (int. dims. c. 29m NNW-SSE; 27.7m ENE-WSW) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2.5-5.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.2-1.3m) with intermittently visible facing stones. There is no visible entrance but a relict field wall traverses the interior diagonally NE-SW. The perimeter is incorporated into a field wall NNW-NE and obscured by field stones S-WSW. Cashel (RO048-130----) is c. 60m to the WNW and rath (RO048-187----) is c. 180m to the NNE.
