What is recorded here

On a gentle S-facing slope. Subcircular overgrown area (dims 55m NNE-SSW; 47.7m WNW-ESE) defined by an overgrown stone spread (at S: Wth 5.5m; int. H 1.7m; ext. H 1.2m) with external facing-stones intermittently visible, especially NNE-SE. There is no identifiable original entrance, but the perimeter is overlain by a field wall NW-E-SE and there are some clearance cairns in the interior. Rath (RO048-187----) is c. 180m to the NE, cashel (RO048-131----) is c. 60m to the ESE, and ringfort (RO048-129----) is c. 180m to the WNW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
