On a rise at the W side of S-N road (RO048-097003-) which is at the summit of a slight col where the road begins to descend to the N. Portion of the shaft (dims 0.26m x 0.26m; H 0.44m) and head of a Latin cross (H 0.74m; Span 0.62m; max. T 0.14m) in limestone together with a stone surround (dims 2.65m x 2.65m). The cross-head has an inscription in false relief which is now illegible but which is thought to commemorate Thady Keogh who died in 1734 (Moore 1978, 64; Siggins 1988, 58).
