On a slight N-S ridge in an undulating landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 28.4m WSW-ENE; 25.7m NNW-SSE) defined by a flat-topped earthen bank (at WSW: Wth 4.5-5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.5m) and slight traces of a fosse SSE-W-N. The perimeter is reduced to a scarp (H 1-1.25m) N-SSE and there is a small quarry on the perimeter at SE. Gannon (1972) recorded a possible enclosure (RO048-065002-) just to the NW which is not visible now. Rath (RO048-186----) is c. 50m to the W.
