On a rise at the W edge of a broad low plateau. Irregularly-shaped, domed, grass-covered area (dims 58m E-W; 51m N-S) defined by a steep-sided earthen bank (Wth 4.9-5.1m; int. H 0.9-1m; ext. H 1.9-2.4m), with an outer fosse WSW-WNW (Wth of top 6.7m; Wth of base 1.8m; D 0.3m) and NNW-NE. There is a modernised entrance at ENE and lazy-beds in the interior, while the perimeter is quarried at SE. Rath (RO048-193----) is c. 220m to the SE.
