Marked only on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a rectangular area of scrub (dims c. 35m x c. 35m), and situated on a NE-facing slope in an undulating landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 28m NNE-SSW; 28m WNW-ESE) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 8-9m; int. H 0.1m at NE to 0.5m at SW; ext. H 0.2m at SW to 0.5m at NE), with slight traces of an outer fosse (at SSW: Wth of top 4.6m; Wth of base 2.5m) SSE-W-NNW. There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO048-039----) is c. 30m to the NNW.
