On a slight rise in an undulating landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 27.7m NE-SW; c. 26m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-4.2m; int. H 0.35-0.45m; ext. H 0.85-0.95m), with an outer fosse (at SW: Wth of top 4m; Wth of base 1.4m; D 0.3m) best preserved SSW-WNW. The entrance (Wth 5.9m) is at ENE. There is a record of four slight depressions in the NE quadrant (Gannon 1972), which may have been a souterrain (RO048004002-) but which are no longer evident.
