Visible as a faint feature on aerial photographs (GSIAP: M 596-7) and situated on an undulating landscape. Oval grass-covered area (dims 54m NE-SW; 38m NW-SE) defined by a slight scarp. It is known locally to have been a fort with a lot of stone which was removed in the early 1980s and it is now overlain by a NW-SE field boundary. Cashel (RO047-042----) is c. 190m to the WNW.
