What is recorded here

On a gently undulating landscape with limestone outcrop. Subcircular slightly domed and scrub-covered area (int. dims 51m N-S; 43m E-W) defined by a stone spread (Wth 4-7m; H 0.3-0.8m) with facing-stones, best preserved at SSW where up to 3 courses survive (original Wth 2.2-2.45m). The entrance at ESE has 3 large stones on the N side of the passage, but the S side does not survive. A house-site (RO047-019005-) (int. dims 9.3m NNE-SSW; 5.2m) defined by grass-covered stone spreads (Wth 1-2m) with doorways on the long walls and an internal division is on a NE-SW ridge in the interior. The interior is overlain by a relict NE-SW field wall associated with the field system (RO047-019001-) and there are clearance cairns in the interior. Rath (RO044-087001-) is c. 200m to the NW.
