On a S-facing slope. Circular, slightly domed grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 39.6m WNW-ESE; 38.8m NNE-SSW) defined by a scrub-covered earthen bank (Wth 5.5m at ESE to 9.5m at WNW; int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.45-1.55m) and a silted flat-bottomed outer fosse (at ESE: Wth of top 5.6m; Wth of base 2.8-3m; D 0.45m). The entrance (Wth 3.7m) and causeway (Wth 2.7m) are at SSE. A WNW-ESE field wall clips the outer edge of the fosse at SSW, and a field bank and hedge circumscribe the perimeter SW-NNE. Rath (RO047-013----) is c. 100m to the NNE and rath (RO047-011001-) is c. 200m to the S.
